There are many types of psychological therapy out there, with strong scientific evidence that supports their effectiveness.

But in therapy, one size doesn't fit all.

Some people want a space to talk things out, to gain a clearer perspective on difficulties that have become overwhelming. They want to understand how these problems came to be, so that they can find ways to move forward.

Others want to learn coping skills and strategies, so that they can face certain problems head on and get on with enjoying their life.

Some people want a bit of both, and many have no idea what they want.

It's my job to listen to what you want and need, and to work alongside you to plan a therapy that works for you.

I firmly believe that there is a therapeutic approach to suit everyone. I am trained to provide several evidence-based psychological therapies, including:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Person-Centred Therapy (PCT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT)

I regularly develop my professional knowledge by learning new methods, ideas and approaches that can benefit my clients.
